"I am happy to have gotten to know Eric back in 2015. He's been doing my acupuncture treatments since I was diagnosed with Mantle cell lymphoma in July of that year. He was able to come to my hospital room to help me with the side effects of very aggressive chemotherapy.

Mantle cell lymphoma is a rare lymphoma that is usually very aggressive and affects men over 60 years of age. With treatments during and between chemotherapy, I was able to use fewer medications for pain, nausea and anxiety.

I'm 57 years young and have been in remission for four years. I found out that acupuncture is very effective in dealing with the side effects and it lasts longer everytime I have treatments. The first few months, I was able to go to his office for treatments but during my stem cell transplant he would come to me.

While most people don't like needles, these needles are very small and relatively painless depending on where they are placed. I plan to continue with acupuncture as long as possible. Even though I am still on a maintenance program, I use the acupuncture to treat the side effects and to help boost my immune system. An hour a day or two each week is all it takes to make me feel better and help with my immune system.

During the first couple of years after the stem cell transplant, I had very regular appointments and didn't get sick or end up in the hospital for illnesses that were out there. "In September of 2019, my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for a little over 3 years. We sought out many treatments that turned out unsuccessful, before Acupuncture was suggested to us as a solution.

 

During my first appointment, Dr. Hao took my pulse in each wrist. Without him knowing anything other than our difficulties getting pregnant, he picked up on many health issues ive been suffering with for years. Constant migraines, chronic back pain, severe lack of sleep, extremely high stress level; it seemed like my body was working against itself and wasnt even close to doing what it was supposed to be.

 

Dr. Hao discussed these issues with me, and how they played a very big role in infertility. He came up with a treatment plan that included 2 visits a week, and wed start out with taking care of my stress, migraines, sleep and pain. He changed my diet to help raise my internal body temperature, and had me wear magnets on certain areas of my wrists and ankles that helped with stress and sleep. I was also given herbs to take in capsule form twice a day, which were for energy levels, and also stress and sleep.

 

Before each session, my pulse would be taken in my wrists and Dr. Hao would then be able to see what still needed attention, where I was improving, where to place needles, and whether he needed to switch the dosage on my capsules. Within the first week my migraines were almost non existent. My back pain had become more tolerable, and my sleep and stress levels had greatly improved.

 

During the second week on we began to focus on needles being placed where they communicated directly to my womb, and would also help to increase blood circulation, while others still worked on my stress and pain and overall sense of well being. They were placed down my midline, legs, arms, wrists feet, ankles and ears, always depending on the information Dr. Hao would get from my pulse. And to further help my progress I would also have smaller needles placed in certain areas of my ears that you could simply place very small bandages over and wear until your body no longer needed them and naturally pushed out. These worked wonders when it came to keeping my moods leveled and my sleep consistent.

 

I experienced my first ovulation in years during the month of October. My treatments continued and were either decreased or increased due to stress levels and my bodies reactions. Through it all Dr. Hao stayed completely invested in helping and guiding us through everything. He even treated my husband for stress, sleep and pain issues. With just a few visits my husband dramatically improved in all areas. We felt very comfortable and confident throughout the entire course of treatment.

 

But the journey isnt over! During the month of December we conceived, and on January 11th 2020, we found out we were pregnant. 3 years of trying, 3 years of fertility treatments, and 3 years of begging for tests and other solutions. And in about 4 months, with Dr. Hao's system weve finally become pregnant.

And even though it was successful, Dr. Hao continues to see me every week to monitor my stress levels and make sure that my body is doing everything its supposed to.
